She has received commissions for her work from numerous churches and organisations in the UK, the USA and Australia. She specialises in composing \u2018new\u2019 and original icons to meet the artistic needs of today\u2019s church in terms of devotional art. McIldowie-Jenkins has qualifications in Fine Art, Ceramics and Art History, and for her MA dissertation investigated an unusual form of 13<sup>th<\/sup>-century Italian crucifixion iconography.
