Revd James Devereux Hustler (1784-1849) was Rector of Barnham, Suffolk. He studied at Cambridge and was a distinguished mathematician. His book The elements of the conic sections: with the sections of the conoids, first published in 1818, was considered of sufficient cultural importance to be republished in 2005.
