Thomas Martin Cocksedge (1813-46) was the son of Colonel Martin Cocksedge and his wife Mary Susanna Le Heup. He appears to have been a colourful character, divorcing his wife Ann Whale in 1845, marrying a barmaid, and selling his property, including Eldo House in Rougham, to maintain his lifestyle. He died in a fire in Worthing, West Sussex, in 1846, aged 33.
